Per un turismo sostenibile della città di Venezia
Located in the greenest area of Venice – city to be preserved for excellence – the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Sant’Elena has embraced a management philosophy respectful of the environment.
The hotel is committed to adopt behaviors that can respond to a sustainable tourism of one of the most prestigious city of art. It therefore promotes to tourists the social, cultural and environmental knowledge of Venice.
This social dialogue involves all stakeholders – staff, suppliers, as well as guests – for a vision based on shared values and objectives, because only all together we can achieve a tangible result.
Some concrete and important actions have been undertaken as first step of the environmental sustainability process:
The BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Sant’Elena has also introduced a purchases monitoring and evaluation system and an energetic monitoring system.
Purchases are indexed to avoid waste and to ensure the origin of products we provide to our guests, preferring where possible eco or biological labels.
The Smart Metering System collects data on energy consumption and allows the figure of the Energy Manager to activate protocols, ensure their implementation and to promote active involvement for the containment of CO2 emissions.
In the light of this project it has undertaken an innovative partnership with LifeGate for a periodic reporting of environmental indicators as: CO2 emissions, electricity demand and water consumption.
An initiative that aims to improve the environmental performance of BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Sant’Elena and to make your stay even more sustainable.
